LI-205 is one of the largest standard blankets in Lancs Industries' lead shielding line, built for area shielding jobs, draping large equipment, wrapping extended pipe runs, or blocking off a work zone around a radiation source, where near-continuous coverage matters more than ease of handling.
LI-205 Lead Shielding Designed Uses
Because of its length and weight, the LI-205 is generally a multi-person install, and higher-density configurations may call for rigging or hoist support to position safely, a trade-off for the extended, near-seamless coverage it provides over a large source or work area. It's frequently specified for outage work, large-component shielding, or situations where several smaller blankets would otherwise need to be overlapped and secured individually. Fill, cover, and grommet options remain consistent with the rest of the lineup, so attenuation performance scales predictably with the size you choose.
