LI-204 is built for jobs where coverage starts to matter more than portability. It’s suitable for wrapping larger equipment sections, shielding extended valve manifolds, or spanning longer runs of pipe that would otherwise need multiple smaller blankets stitched together.
LI-204 Lead Shielding Designed Uses
Due to it 4-foot length, the blanket's mass means installation works best with two technicians, particularly at the higher areal density options, but the payoff is fewer seams and more continuous coverage across a larger source or work area. It's a practical middle ground between the compact, single-person sizes Lancs offers and our largest blankets, which are built for full-scale area shielding. It uses the same construction, flexible lead wool or plate fill, PVC or high-temp cover, brass or nickel grommets as our other offerings, so you're not trading attenuation reliability for the extra size.
