LI-206 Lead Shielding Details
LI-206 is the largest standard size in Lancs Industries' flexible lead shielding line, built for jobs where a small blanket won't cover the exposure. At 1 foot by 6 feet, it's suited to wrapping extended pipe runs, draping large equipment, or shielding an entire work zone around a radiation source, coverage that would otherwise require piecing together several smaller blankets.
LI-206 Lead Shielding Designed Uses
LI-206's extended length spans a longer section of pipe or equipment in a single piece, reducing seams and gaps where radiation could otherwise leak through. Its extra mass compared to our shorter offerings means its best for a two-person install or using rigging or hoist support, With the same lead wool or plate fill, cover, and grommet options as the rest of the line, the LI-206 delivers the same attenuation reliability at a scale suited to larger outages, refueling work, or multi-component shielding jobs.
