LI-202 Lead Shielding Details
LI-202 provides a slightly broader cover footprint from Lancs Industries' smallest blanket while staying easy to handle solo. At 1 foot by 2 feet, it's sized for shielding a small cluster of valves or fittings, a longer section of instrumentation, or a short run of pipe where a single 1x1 blanket would leave gaps.
LI-202 Lead Shielding Designed Uses
LI-202's extra length allows it to be wrapped around components with more than one hotspot (e.g. a valve and its adjoining flange) without needing to reposition a smaller blanket or overlap two of them. It's still light and compact enough for one technician to install and remove without rigging, which keeps setup time (and time near the source) short. The same lead wool or plate fill and cover options carry through the line, so attenuation performance stays consistent whether you're using the LI-201 or stepping up to this size.
