Our Team: Mike Pereira

Mike Pereira is an executive leader with over 20 years of experience driving complex technical programs across commercial and military aviation, space, and defense manufacturing. A U.S. Navy veteran, he brings a disciplined, mission-first approach to business development, capture, and program management, with a track record of managing both supplier and customer relationships through the full product lifecycle — from concept development and design through test, deployment, and operations.

Mike has led over $100M in competitive wins, including Other Transaction Authority (OTA) awards delivering first-of-kind GEO refueling spacecraft and counter-drone high-energy laser prototypes to the U.S. Space Force and Air Force. Prior to joining Lancs Industries, he served as Director of Business Development at Rocket Lab and held program management roles across the defense aerospace sector, including a SpaceWERX liaison assignment to the Space Development Agency.

As President of Lancs Industries, Mike drives strategic initiatives that strengthen operational performance and enterprise growth, working collaboratively across departments to align internal capabilities with customer and mission requirements. He holds an MBA, MS in Aeronautical Engineering, BS in Mechanical Engineering, and is a graduate of U.S. Navy Test Pilot School. He is well-versed in FAR/DFAR contracting, Lean Six Sigma, and cross-functional program leadership.
