LI-357 – 15" Conical Catch Containment Details
Some leaks don't happen at floor level. The LI-357 is the larger of Lancs' two conical catch containments. It is built to hang directly beneath an overhead valve, flange, or pipe joint and collect what falls before it reaches workers, equipment, or the surfaces below. Its 15-inch mouth gives a wider capture window than the 12-inch LI-356. That extra width helps when the drip point wanders, or when a crew is working a joint that could release from more than one spot.
LI-357 – 15" Conical Catch Containment Designed Uses
The cone is what sets the LI-357 apart from the flat-bottom line. Hung from nearby piping, cable tray, or scaffolding, it funnels collected liquid toward a single low point instead of spreading it across a flat base. The contents stay centered and are less likely to slosh over the rim if the containment swings or has to be taken down full. The sealed-in support ring keeps the 15-inch opening held wide while the unit is suspended, so the capture area doesn't narrow as weight collects. The conical body can also conform to varying surfaces, so the LI-357 works when set down where a flat-bottom unit would rock: between pipe runs, against a sloped surface, or in a tight corner of a pump room. In yellow, it stays easy to spot in a congested overhead workspace.
