LI-353 – 24" Cylinder Catch Containment Specifications

LI-353 – 24" Cylinder Catch Containment Details

Pumps are one of the most common sources of drips, and they rarely leave much room for work. The LI-353 is a 24-inch flat-bottom catch containment sized for the area beneath a pump connection. That includes a mechanical seal replacement, a casing drain being opened, or suction and discharge of flanges being unbolted. It covers more ground than the 18-inch LI-352 while still fitting within the base footprint of most pump skids.

LI-353 – 24" Cylinder Catch Containment Designed Uses

Material selection is worth a closer look at this size. Pump work can involve processing fluids, lubricants, and flushing liquids, and the right containment material depends on what is draining into it. Lancs offers the LI-353 in M12 or Ether PU, so procurement teams and radiation safety staff can match the containment to the job instead of adapting the job to the containment. The flat base sits steadily on a skid or floor beside the pump. Meanwhile, the support ring sealed into the rim keeps the 24-inch opening held open as volume collects. When the space below a connection is blocked by baseplates or conduit, the loops on the rim ring let the crew suspend the LI-353 closer to the drip point.

LI-353 – 24" Cylinder Catch Containment Product Options

Working with a fluid or configuration that needs something different? Lancs can build catch containments to your exact specifications.

Smaller jobs may fit the LI-351 (14") or LI-352 (18"), while larger equipment calls for the LI-354 (36") or LI-355 (48"). For overhead capture, see the conical LI-356 and LI-357. Catch containments pair well with our glovebag products, sleeving, and sheeting, or you can work with our custom design team.
