Valve maintenance rarely drips from just one spot. When a crew pulls a bonnet, repacks a stem, or removes an actuator, liquid can release from the body joint, the packing area, and the tools and parts coming off the valve. The LI-352 gives that work an 18-inch flat-bottom catch area, a step up from the 14-inch LI-351, so the full footprint of a single valve job lands inside the containment instead of around it.

At this size, material thickness becomes a practical choice rather than a line item. Valve work puts wrenches, fasteners, and removed components within reach of the containment, and a technician may set a part down inside it rather than on a clean surface. The 20-mil option adds material between those hard edges and the floor below. The 12-mil option keeps the unit lighter and easier to fold into a work kit for quick jobs. Either way, the support ring sealed into the rim holds the 18-inch opening round, and the flat base keeps the containment steady on a floor or equipment pad while hands are busy above it. If the valve sits over a gap or an obstruction, loops on the rim ring allow the LI-352 to be hung from nearby piping or structure instead.
